At the age of 25, I fell in love with everything to do with personal grooming. This turned into a hobby that got a bit out of hand, eventually resulting in the publication of a book: The Brown Beauty Book. I trained as a make-up artist and spent years working with great pleasure for companies including MAC Cosmetics and NARS. I stumbled into IT recruitment by chance in 2023, but my love for beauty remains, and after a slight detour, I’ve now had the best of both worlds at ColorCrew since 2025: working with people in the industry I lost my heart to. Because I can connect with people quickly and easily, and have worked myself in the very roles we are recruiting for, this comes in very handy in my role as a recruiter. My priority is ensuring every candidate feels at ease, so that I can best assess where there are great matching opportunities.
